I take it that the A55RF works through an FM modulator? If so, start a CD playing and then kick the head unit into "Scan" mode on FM. It should stop once it picks up the changer's freq. Will that work?

thanks a lot..but apparently the CD Changer is busted anyway.
  so ...iono...will be saving up for a head unit. ah. yes. what's a good head unit with a built in amp? my toyota OEM headunit is also busted (CD doesn't work)
