Do you know if it's the same as a 1997 or 1998? If so, I've got the full wiring details for a 1998 and ECU wiring diagrams for my 1997.

yes... supposedly 96-98 are all the same with the exception of a factory amp. Any info that could steer me in the right direction would be great!!

Ducman-
A polarity popper would help you too.. you can make one w/ a 9 volt battery and some 2-lead wire. Just attach a wire to each pole on the battery, and you can use this to find you speaker wires.. when you touch the leads to the wires of the same speaker, you'll get a pop... as soon as you find that, you can use a voltmeter to determine polarity. I know that sounds complicated, but I've had to do that many times as a former MECP Certified Installer... it sucks, but sometimes its easier. Hope the other fellow has the diagram you're looking for! If not, I'll try to help later, I'm removing and rewiring the stereo in my 96' later today... I'll take a peek if ya need me too! Oh yah... nice forum name... check my sig if you need another rig in your stable! Jason

Using my noodle.. I finally figured it out. You need to remove the stock amp first and everything else falls into place!! The general Toyota color code chart matches up exactly from there.
Go me!!
