1st Gen 4Runner + 51/2'' Dash Speakers

Is it possible to fit 5 1/2'' speakers in the dash? With modification of course, but I'm curious if that hole is even big enough to put a speaker that size in.
The reason I ask is because my father is selling his 2003 F-350 (Diesel prices) and I'm gonna get those speakers along with a 1000W Fosgate amp for free.
So, anybody seen a set this big jammed in the dash?
Thanks

The 5 1/2" would require some major under dash modification... a custom bracket and potentially some cutting. There really isin't a lot of room to play with behind there. Not to say it could'nt be done.
Are you looking to maintain a stock appearance or do you plan to install new grills as well?

aviator, I want to maintain a stock appearance, I'm definitely going to remove the speakers if I ever sell the truck, they are far to nice for my junk
