Who will be at Barnwell on the 19th June?

We would like to get a good head-count so we do not leave anyone behind.
If you take the time to vote, Please do the write-up so we really know who is going to be there and who isn't.

also, below please tell us
1.where you will be staying (camping or hotel or drive up that morning)
2.what recovery equipment you will be bringing.
3.tell us about your rig.
4.radios ( CB or FRS Radio)

1. I will sleep in my rig/camping ( talked the wife out of going with me

2. I have a 2X30 strap, d ring, receiver hook, hi-lift jack, and a handy lil shovel.

3. mostly stock. 4x4 no lockers and no lift as of right now ( SAWs and OME rears on the way might be in by the 19th)

4. I have both a CB and two handheld Motorola talkabout ( 2 mile range)

This will also be only my second time out. So I am still a noob.

I'll be gracing you guys ("guys" in general, meant to include both males and females) with my presence.

1. Camping
2. I won't need any, just kidding. All I have is a 2x20 strap, two shackles on the shackle hangers, tow hitch in the rear and my lockers. I can bring a shovel too, I nice garden shovel.
3. Are you serious?
4. Like you, I like to yell. Otherwise, cellphone or borrowed radio.

This won't be my first time out, I know what my rig can do. It will be my first organized run though.

Hmm I see 4 yes's and only 3 replies...we have a mystery rider

1. I'll be driving over Saturday morning, probably meet y'all at the entrance at 10 am.

2. One recovery strap, 2 shackles hanging in front, 1 shackle hanging in rear, high lift jack w/ slider adapter.

3. Crappy 3.90 gears with no lockers, but that's about to change real soon, but not in time for Barnwell, OME/Spacer lift, 2" Body lift, etc...

4. In-cab CB, plus 2 FRS radios

Been wheeling before..

Hey guys, I'm almost positive me and my dad will be heading up there Friday afternoon. He sounds pretty pysched about it lol

1. We will most likely be camping, either out of the truck or tents or whatever
2. 2x20 recovery strap, come along, tow hooks front, receiver hitch rear
3. '91 4unner lifted about 5", no lockers but the MTR's kind of help keep it moving, just mainly a stock 4unner with lift
4. Might put the CB radio in, but I also have a couple sets of Motorola radios to go around if we all want to do that and stay in touch.

This will only be like my second time really off-roading thanks to keisurs tour around the backwoods saturday, and my first organized thing so I'm definitely a noob!

1. Drive in Sat. morning

2. Should have a couple tow straps and a couple hitch recievers/ D-rings.

3. My car has 4wd (I think) and plenty of cargo space for groceries.

4. No CB, but I think I have a Talkabout somewhere.

Are you spending Friday night in Gilmer? Where? I was planning on going up Saturday morning; get there around 9:30 - 10:00 am.

I just have the factory tow hooks, haven't ordered the tow strap yet and no CB.

Herk I'm just a coonass from N.O. but the state of Texas frowns on bottles in parks if my memory serves. However that may just be state parks on or near lakes. Think flip top cans

Yes and no. Same guys, not military. Just met them when we wen twheeling last month. As far as where the camping is... you'll go through the entrance when you first come in, there is a place to pay, a large pavilion area, we'll meet there between 9:30 and 10 am. Cool?

I've got a few questions about getting there and everything. I get off work at 4 on Friday and then me and my dad will probably be driving up there right after that, so will they still let us in the gates at like 9 or 10 pm? Is anyone camping there (primitive or the regular camp grounds) and do we need to make reservations? Is everyone leaving Saturday night? Sorry for all the questions. I just don't want to get up there and not have a campsite or something!

that's all part of being "responsible." Take out what you bring in and don't get rowdy and bust up the place.

Yeah I that's what we're going to do. We're going to go ahead and bring our dirtbikes up on the trailer too and stay until sunday afternoon probably since we have the chance to take them somewhere. What time did you say you were probably going up there on Friday? Maybe we can convoy because now I'm not working at all and we want to leave around 12.
