Central Texas

Ok--so are there any people in Cental Texas that want to do some wheelin and now of some good places/trails to go wheelin? Having a hard time finding people to go wheeling with there in Austin.

I'm leaving soon but texas4x4.org has a lot of info on locations and such. I never wheeled with any of the guys but met a couple or three, nice dudes and say club is family (procreating type) orientated.

Hey--yes an old thread--but i go out with a group from KRAWTEX here in Austin. I have only been on one trip--but it was alot of fun. Good little group of people . Check it out Krawltex.com

Yep. I met up with them a few months ago. Cameron hooked me up with the tundra coil swap for my Tacoma and has given me good ideas for the 4runner. I just joined up on there site under Austintaco. I'll probably see ya around the shop. cool

Ft. Hood..my old stomping grounds. I grew up in Copperas Cove so I know the area well, but I live in Austin now. I don't know what's open to the public up there anymore, but I am sure someone will chime in. There are some soldiers on the Krawltex site, Krawltex.com.

I live in San Marcos on the Blanco river. There is a large mud wallow in the field nexxt to that seems pretty popular w/ 4x4s. I just bought my 1st Yota a 1991 4runner
