Why does this " become this ?

I see it a lot... has happened to me.

When you paste from another program, all the quotes turn to question marks. In fact, it seems any punctuation besides periods and commas go the way of the question mark.

Anyway to prevent this? Either on the board side or user side?

Would be nice not to see 35? tires 4? lift questions all the time.

Good question...no pun intended.
I used to have those annoying ? marks all the time too but as of a couple months ago, i no longer see them. I did nothing to fix the problem when i had it which leads me to believe it's either a browser update or a simple computer setting.

Are you using IE or Mozilla?
Is your browser set so it has automated updates? If not, look for your update history via the Tools menu or available updates via the Help menu.
Also make sure all your SLL protocols are checked.

Anyone else have a clue to this issue?

Mozilla Firefox version 2.0.0.9. I'll check for updates... maybe that's the problem.

Only happens to me when I paste in some text from Word. Figured that was the cause for others as well. But if it is a browser issue, I'll have to do some more figuring.
