I echo that sentiment.
This site has become such a part of my daily life (sad or not as that may be) that it's being down felt really bad! Lots of good stuff here on YOTATECH, from the goofing off to the serious build questions to pictures of spiders and stuff like that, it's all good. Thak you all for your speedy work at getting it up and running but most of all for having such a GREAT site on a daily basis. It's a great place to spend time with my boys at my side and not have to worry about what they are seeing on the screen. Good job ALL!!!!! No Jim Beam or Prozac here though. Or pea soup.

I was relieved to find the site's woes had nothing to do with me. Thanks for not senselessly banning me like ToyotaNation did. I like this site much better anyway.
Why do really crappy sites never seem to go down? It's only the really good ones that ever have technical problems, it seems. |

A BIG Thank You!! - to the staff
Well... here's the one I posted this morning.... I guess it got put on a different forum...
"We really want to apologize for the downtime suffered over the last two days. Unfortunately our Internet Brands network was targeted with a series of cyber attacks that severely limited access over this time period. Our tech team has worked around the clock to resolve the issue. We absolutely appreciate your patience and understanding and do apologize for the inconvenience caused by the attack." I attempted to post a "thank you" yesterday, but somehow it didn't get on. Thank you guys, and ALL who were involved, for getting us back on line. I'm sure it was a pain. I didn't have to get on Prozac, but the withdrawal symtoms were getting worse! ![]() I survived mostly on Jim Beam and Sprite!! gNARLS. Last edited by Gnarly4X; 11-15-2009 at 09:04 AM. |

I have to say that Adrian of IB and hs crew is the one to thank here. They were the ones who busted buns to get the issue fixed while all of the rest of us waited with baited breath! If this ever happens again in the future you can come over to cottora and find me there under lysmachia to ask what is up. Corey also posted up on his PNW site info as he learned it as to the YT status.

Yes, they were great at getting to the problem.
Another snag was that I lost communication with them for awhile since their email network was under attack too, but now I have an alternative email to stay in touch in case this happens again. Now the fun begins for me, tons of new signups did not get their reg letters, so I will have to reg them up manually as they email me, and also the cleanup takes place to get rid of frustrated new members who signed up twice when they did not get the reg letter. Creates a huge problem. Hackers should be castrated or have their fingers cut off.

I agree. I am getting ready to start the 3.4 swap and I panicked thinking all the info from the swap forum might be gone!!!!
No way I could do it without all that information. thanks all that make this site go
