Site running slow?

All weekend long for me the forum takes awhile to load, and it has been doing it all weekend long for me.

Every other site I surf is lightening fast with my cable connection.

Anyone else seeing the same?
I do have a trouble ticket in for the server techs to look at.

Yes, stuff like that can slow it down.
Links in the background that may have their own server trouble can lead to a slow down here too.
That science one does that quite often.

If you notice, we are running slow right now, the server is having snags with the ISP.
Not the servers fault, but it is the ISP the server goes through.

Personally for me it has been acting up both at Boeing and now at home.
Very hard to navigate here for me.

Slow for me too all weekend and still was when I tried to get on here just now. Tell them they need to just reboot the server.

That's what our IT guys always tell us to do and it usually solves most of the "virtual woes".

I am sure they have rebooted it.
Not the server, as another server I use that goes through the same ISP as this one is experiencing the same slowness.

It is the ISP.

Email came into me yesternight around 10:30 PM PST.
Problem solved.

As far as I know, only YotaTech is on this box, but perhaps a few other sites use the same ISP.
I am sure this will get fully resolved, as they have a great team of people who do this all day for a living.

site seems back to normal now...
if only they could speed up the science revenue connection that seems to be causing the most speed bumps now...

science revenue has their own servers, so that slows it down here when they have a snag..
That would be like someone browsing my buildup thread, and if my site was having snags, it would cause YotaTech to load the page slow too.
