Lightbulb Polite Feedback Re: ^ Sticky's in this forum..

Can the sticky's in this forum please just be consolidated into a FAQ thread or something? IMHO it's silly to have to scroll down pretty much a full facing page every time to get past the (currently 8) sticky's up there.

That or edit the inactive ones, like for the 2009 calendar maybe?

Appreciate the mods/owners listening.

That would be a good idea, i also feel that there are to many and they should be consolidated into one thread or two at the most, and make it a sticky

mods please consider this idea, to much space is being wasted on stickys.

So, how do you consolidate threads about different topics into one thread which tells everyone what the thread is about?

I say leave them alone, it's nice to have them right on top. There's only eight of them anyway....

aw comom, I just scored a sticky and now you guys are trying to shoot it down?

lol

I see what you are talking about. Maybe just a sticky name "Helpful Info Sticky" that just had a bunch of links to helpful threads and websites, that's constantly monitered and updated by the mods that find appropriate material in the forum section

It's bad enough trying to get people to read the stickies when they are right in front of their faces and they have to scroll past them. If we consolidated them all into one they would never get read.

Dang, you beat me to my reply I had prepared...

UKMeyers...that's when you figure out a nicer reply than RTFFAQ's. I like the "Everything Tech FAQ" title, unique and effective, if you have half a brain, but we're not discussing that, nor implying that people don't think, that would be just plain mean.

Agreed! I'll be going though all the sub-forums tonight and un-sticky more. Some of them are just overdue 'spring cleaning' that we tend to overlook. Thanks for the feedback.
