It's never a good idea to use a vehicle year/model. Thats what signatures and profiles are for.

Keep in mind, choosing a unique nickname or something likewise will never need change.
Most who use vehicle identification as a forum username will eventually end up wanting or asking for it to be changed at some point later. It's helps us all if you can avoid that.
