You my friend will have the best looking 2nd Gen I've seen in a long time. I love that look. I've seen it before but not for awhile. Awesome....

I tried soo hard to win a 2nd Gen 4runner with the back cut and welded very nice in the back on ebay before I bought my 84. I was outbid in the very end at the last minute.

I'm waiting for the day I see a 3rd gen with the back cut off. I may have to sell the 84 for something like that.

4 Hummer did it too. I will be doing it when I finally get my frakin' 3.4 in ther (It is sitting in the garage) To get rid of that extra weight not to mention that rear glass that gets so easily broken is WAY worth it!

ya when we were lifting off the top it was alot heavier then i expected so that should be nice, and i am also going to gut the tailgate which should also get rid off extra weight since that thing is pretty heavy

i gotta a little bit of welding done today but not anything worth putting up a pic of. about the seatbelts, well i havent really got to those yet i will probably just find some seatbelts that only go across your lap until i figure something better out. i have also been thinking about putting in bucket seats in the back but im not really sure if i could with the hump that the bench seat sits on but if i do figure out a way then i would probably stick 5 point harnesses back there and make some custom mounts
