Tacoma Double Cab Box on Reg. Cab?

The other day I couldn't help but notice how short the boxes are on the 01-04 Tacoma double cabs. I then started thinking about finding a double cab Tacoma box and putting it on my regular cab 96 Tacoma. I know it would take some serious moding to do it, cutting section out of frame, driveshaft, brake lines etc. but it has had me wondering ever since if anyone has ever done it? It would not only be one of a kind but it would obviously also shorten your wheelbase for increase clearence. I have roughly photo shopped what the finished product would look like. What are your opinions!?

I think it looks good, might be kinda hard on long obsticals (dang I cant spell!!) and hills and such!! looks good though, But if you think about it, its a lot of work for soemthing not to different from the norm, you know. Cause you would also have to move the rear axle up farther, and that means new driveshaft, when you could just cut 1 foot or so from the back and still have the wheelbase to get up rocks and such.

I have to say though, if you got the money and the time, do it cause it would look badass!!!
