Wow... What can I say... I'd not make mine another time that way but if it's useful and you like it...
Sorry, I don't want you to take offense, really. David

I was in the process of building one for my 95 4Runner before I decided to stop throwing money into her. You can actually buy the snorkle head from ARB for about $60. I picked up one of those and some black PVC and planned to run it inside the fender wall. I picked up a different style/sized air box from the junk yard off of a Chrysler mini van and planned to connect the AFM to it, then route the PVC out and up from the air box. The only part missing was a custom bent aluminum tube going from the throttle body to the AFM. Coulda been sweet...
At the very least, I'd recommend you look into buying the snorkle head fro ARB. It won't go over the filter you have at the top, but it sure would look a lot better. I'll bet you could get that PVC inside the fender well, too, with a little patience and a heat gun. I've got a feeling you're eventually going to rip that thing off your truck if you do any serious wheeling. Ed

You realize that a sex-toy party is not the place to buy a snorkel right?

Ok, all joking aside, if you are in NH you should come wheeling with ttora-ne and ne4roc. Get on our forum www.ne4roc.org/forum.
I tend to agree with Bob, it needs some refinement, the theory is sound, but it needs to be brought in closer to the vehicle. There is no reason for it to be so tall.

yea man, when you nail the gas you just hear the air being sucked in, espically with that filter on the top, it doesn't seem like the bend in the fender affects it that bad, but i haven't driven it yet to let you know |
