welding in new floorboards is no easy task, chances are what you should be welding to are also rusted out.

what about taking 1.8 inch steel and tacking it from the bottom of the firewall and running it back till the back of the cab, its just the bottom where your feet are, not near the fire wall

and, I am on Yotatech to find out about repairing and fabbing up some parts for my truck and when my dad buys one

Take a look at my signature, I am only 16, but I aint stupid

Curtis

perhaps the easiest fix for the floor boards would be
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
to sell it and buy a Toyota.

remember-

Piece of Tin

Piece of Board

Slap it together

Ya got a Ford

I think you may be in the wrong place. Not too many Ford fans here.

Since when is welding floor boards in a "Toyota only" fab job? Granted, we are a Toyota board, but a little diversity never hurt. Fabricating is a universal language.

Yes, anybody and everybody is welcomed here at yotatech. I don't care what people drive, I'll wheel with anybody.

At the same time, you have to realize people are going to tease you. If you stay here long enough and contribute tech, people will get to know you and start to respect you (although you'll still get teased), I've seen it happen before. I'm always posting on the xterra boards.

I was giving the kid a hard time on the other thread(tube bumpers) to see how he'd handle it. He did...like a pro, and I hope he comes back. I agree that FAB work is a universal tongue.

But...Xterra boards, geez... :pat:
