Dovetailing?

I want to dovetail the front and back of my first gen, how do I do it?

My plans, bob the bed and dove tail, dovetail the front too.

ExoCage the cab.

Civic seats.

Licoln lock the rear.

Im doing this on the CHEAP. Any input?

wsuweston did civic seats, he has a write up.
I did Acura Integra seats (basically civic seats)

The rear inside mount is flat, so ended up using the old stack of washers install method

They will have to come back out though when it fix the rust, needed to get them mounted though so I could still drive the old beast around

Thanks, ill look up that link now. DO you think there is room between the seats for a jump seat out of a ranger or tacoma?

Do you just pull out the inner fenders and cut/reweld the fenders? Or do you cut into the front end some?

No, I don't think there is enough room. I put a .50 cal ammo can between the seats for a center console and ended up with about 3/4 of clearance on either side of it. It would a tight fit for 2 adults and even a kid up front...
They mount fairly close to the transmission tunnel.

Dunno. I have never dovetailed anything before. I found that link and bookmarked it, thought it was a good one to save.
