CUSTOM OPTIMA BOX & BRACKET FOR WARN CONTROLLER

I got the idea from one of the posters on this thread. Thanks.
The bracket was made for me by Tom Huber of Welding Trends of Imperial Beach. If you like what you see, you can call him directly (619)980-3637.
I installed a TJM Bumper and a Warn M8000 winch on my truck. I didn't want to install the controller on the bumper since it will be exposed to the elements, so i decided to install it inside the engine compartment. I posted a question on the thread and one of the response I got was to install the controller next to the battery using a custom bracket. So, when I talked to Tom Huber, I told him that I wanted to incorporate the bracket with the battery box. Before, I had (3) plastic cutting board glued together and cut to size to serve as an adapter to raise the optima battery approx. 1 3/8" in order to use the stock battery clamp on my truck. With the custom battery box, I got rid of the cutting board, bolted the box right on the bottom, and I have the bracket for the warn controller. There was enough room on the right side of the battery for the Ramsey Wireless Winch Controller and Antenna and Warn Power Interrupt Kit.

Thanks

Frank
