i like the 37s, i'm running 35s and a 2inch body lift(leftover from the initial lift to fit 33s) with my SAS and theres way too much room over the tires. I'm taking out the body lift and might have to upgrade to that size. Looks great. Looks like you have some fender trimming in your future though.

85badger how much lift did you get from the chevies (63" I assume)? also how did you position the hangers, I mean what were your measurements and where did you measure from? and how did you mount your shocks and spring perches to the axle?
Because I have all the stuff to do this mod I just want to make sure that i do it right the first time your help is greatly appreciated! |

Well the chevy's (63") really didn't give me much lift at all. To get the rear to match the front's hieght I had to put 3" blocks between the axle and the springs. Not the best solution but I'm hoping the front will settle so I can take out the blocks or get shorter ones. Measurements........for some reason there isn't a very good place to measure from to mount the front spring hanger (rear springs) I actually measured 1" forward from the little drain holes in the bottom of the frame. I'll take some pics of the shock hanger and perches that we fabbed up. I'll post them tommorow. |

How long are the rear shocks and can we get some pics showing how much they're angled in at the top?

Hey did you make those shock mounts (the upper cross bar and lower axle mounts ? or they prefabed. If you did make them can you give me some specs (like the lenght of the tubing, wall thickness and what bolts that were used) and what did you use for bump stops? thanks, your info on this is greatly appreciated!
