86 turbo build

Well i picked up a turbo truck with a blow engine that came with a set of solid axles. I completely had the engine rebuilt with all new parts. After I got the engine in it wouldnt rev past 3500 rpm's for over a month and I changed everything humanly possible. All it needed was warmed up for 5 minutes lol. Dumb fix bbut it drove me crazy. This is what it looked like when i picked it up....

The frame on the truck was killed so I bought another truck for a good frame. I cut off the ifs and put a 3in trail gear front and rear lift on it. I luckily had the rf151 tranny and put a 23 spline doubler on it. Front driveshaft is a tractor pto shaft(like square with less slop). Front end was completly rebuild. Then I installed the body using new mounts. I sold the fiberglass bed from the truck to help fund the project. I bought orange and black racing seats with rci 5pts. Also installed a boost gauge in a daul guage pod. I got the change to borrow a bender and figured Id give it a shot now that I needed a bed and figured Id throw an exo on it. DEF not as easy as I figured it would be. After that I painted it hugger orange with the bottom of the doors rhino lined and bought custom offset wheels with 36in iroks and diy beadlocks with 39 bolts and the rings painted hugger orange. I still have to paint the cage, instal the harnesses, finish interior and bed.

Half way.....

Almost done....
