im not sure..i ran into a problem with a truck donated to me.
its an automatic 1983 sr5 pickup.. ecu ( 22r A/T )..with a 1989
22re motor...i just got a RE ecu in the mail, and the plugs are wrong..
i dont think for somehow of a reason the automaitc tranny was plugged into it.
and a few other things..but somehow the truck runs, poorly..up to 30 miles an hour..there is a 1968 manual toyota pickup i can get..would this engine mount in there?...is it too big of a mod...if the engine mounts..and the transmissions can be 'fused' ( haha )...stupid question?..i wasnt a hot rod 1968 toyota pick up..help...( but i wouldnt mind suggestions on getting the proper wiring harness for this ecu..and tranny..).... thanks. ) and im not sure if this is in the correct spot on the forum..its my first day..im not sure the difference between a thread and a posting a new message, if there is one.
