Okay so i am 16. Dad gave me and 87 p/u reg cab short bed. He had put like 1400 into new timing cover reman heads new water pump new gaskets the work right. Turns out the people who did the work didnt realize that pressure is gettin past the piston due to i think either the compression rings or the oil rings. And i have no job at the moment and need to get my truck runnin. it runs but not so smooth. so i need some help, do i buy a rebuild kit? Buy a short block? a whole motor like one i found on craigslist right now or what? so if someone could help me out and give me some advice and tell me anything you know thatd be sweet. thanks guys - Sean
