so im still in the middle os doing the manual conversion. i had to go to 6 different hardware stores to find the flywheel bolts but found the clutch bolts the first store.
i got the auto tranny out and replaced the oil pan gasket did a oil change and replaced the rear main seal. still need to find the wiring harness for the reverse lights, to start.

this is what has been going on;
9/6/08-
i finished the tranny today finally got it all bolted up. i took off the shifter electronic piece from the auto tranny and set it in park and it fired right up. i also put the shifter in and then realized it needed the bushing . the clutch grinds when put in reverse.
9/7/08-
i went to the junkyard in the morningit was 106degrees at 1 in the after noon when i left. they had a 88' 4runner out there with a 350 turbo tranny black with 35's. it had the 4&3 suspension kit with traction bars on the rear. i bought;
1.rear seat
2.tranny drive shaft piece
3.amp pire wire
4.rcas
5.mallory ignition system
6.rear window switch
7.rear tailgate cover
8.driver side fender
9.gas cap cover
when i got home i installed the new amp power wire, rcas and ran that to the back. put the drive shaft piece in and it fit so i bolted up the new lenghtened drive shaft. put new fender on it looks alot better. put on new gas cap cover.
9/8/08-
i bought new-slave cylinder, air filter, spark plug wires. put new cylinder on and i still have problems with the clutch. i mounted my amp and box in the rear behind the rear seat. i am running a 12" mtx jackhammer, and a 12" mtx thunder in a 2 12" sealed box with a 400watt alpine amp mounted on the side. i have a pioneer head unit.
9/9/08-
i bought a new master slave cylinder and installed that. it helped a very tiny bit but didnt make the clutch any better.
