1985 4runner. 193K Miles on the odo. Engine has about 50K. 3inch wider than stock rear axle is from IFS trucks. Land cruiser vented rotors up front.
This is a WV vehicle that has seen a lot of winters. Body has rust issues but the frame seems solid.
Things that are in the immediate future to be fixed:
Rear window repair removing all the relays and junk
Rebuild rear axle to fix leak
Fix leak in front brakes
Repair parking brake
Patch all the rust and remove as much as possible
Upgrades planned in the future:
SR5 guage cluster swap and inclinometer
Lockers in rear and front
Two stick added for the transfer case
More aggressive tires.
Better bumpers
Roll bar for safety
Replace bench seat with bucket seats
Five point harnesses in front
It is gonna be a lot of work but these things are so tough you know they will last. As she sits I have $1500.00 in her. That is not bad for a working 4wd in this area.
