Log Corral Run on 9/6
This run will be on 9/6. Most likley meeting at the Arby's at Shea and BeeLine around 7:30 or 8:00.
Was fun to get out on the trails again. I'd like to get another run going here soon. Log Corral has gotten bigger teeth, and might be shaded somewhat. At least more than Elvis. Plus the lake is very high at the end. Some ideas:
I'll be in Utah for some cycling until Tuesday (8/26)... so just seeing who all is free and when.

Funny you post this up...I've been thinking about calling you to see if you wanted to run Log Corral and that other canyon (next door), soon.
I was thinking of heading out there this weekend...but I see you will be gone? Labor Day weekend which is the following weekend, I will probably be up north in the White Mtns.

I'm definitely in for a Log Corral run. I've been wanting to head out to check it out since Reynolds said it had gotten worse (better). If you can plan it out a week or two, I can have my junk ready to go by then.

There is no immediate hurry as far as I am concerned... just throwing the idea out there to see when others are free.
I am open to dates, weekends are now fine. ![]()

Unless you are looking to give your 4Runner some time off... it's more than up to the task. Even though the waterfall is more exposed, It's still manageable.

You guys tell me if my junk can do it. Sounded iffy for me before it got worse (better). Otherwise I'd ride and shoot pics. I might have this w/e the 23rd avail but won't know til the last minute. 8/30-31 is good as well as 9/6

I would be free 8/30 or 8/31.
Mike, depending on the route chosen, we could get your 4Runner to the waterfall and decide. If a NoGo, we can park you off to the side and you could go Co-Pilot with someone. Then grab your 4Runner on the way out.

Good deal. If we settle on a date that I can attend, count me in.

Log Corral - 3.0 with option for 3.5 stuff...I'd say a small lift, 31s, rear locker and rock sliders are bare minimum to get through without too much drama. Even with that equipment you will be scraping ROCK bottom through the rocky section.
It has been washed out recently too.

So is the plan for a labor day weekend run or shall we wait until 9/6 so Westfall can make it?

Yes, GD was Go Daddy.
I should be free if 6/9 works for most. I actually have a job with REI since the first post, but not exactly sure of my start date or schedule. I should know more this week.

Maybe you will be free on 6/9 and have it planned out that far in advance. Anyway, if you want to run something this weekend also, let me know. I should be free.
