I pick up the 7.2 from Steve on Friday. Spent about 5 hours on Saturday to put everything on. I LOVE IT!!!
I gained about 4 inches in the rear. I haven't had a chance to really try it out yet. I was gonna hit up the Vulture Mountains today, but traffic sucked, and I aborted. Hopefully I'll get out next weekend. Maybe head up to Payson, out toward the east verde wilderness. I'll have some pics up tomorrow, both before and after.

Thanks guys.
Atomic, they're 265/75/16. I know they look small, and I want to go bigger. I just can't justify it right now as there's still a good amount of tread left. Install was extremely easy. I paid Steve to go ahead and assemble the front. He did an awesome job. Everything was lined up and went together smoothly. I HIGHLY recommend you pay for the new top plate and the assembly if you are getting this or the 1.2. It just made is so much easier. The ONLY difficulty was getting the shock in there. I had to stand on the front disc to push the IFS down far enough to get in. I now have a little grease on the axle. I assume it's just from stretching it and compressing the boot. Once again, BIG props to Steve at Sonoran Steel for a great package.

Thanks, I just wanted to know cause I have 265/70's and I wanted to see what they looked like with that lift. I can't justify getting new tires at the moment either...

I'd like to run 255/85/16 bfg mt but I may change my mind and go with something wider.
Keep in mind that I also have a 1" BL.

You can use the stock jack to push the upper a-arm down, it is easiest to get the shock in if you unhook the front sway bar and loosen the big long bolt that hold the upper a-arm and then tighten the big long bolt once the truck is on the ground in the new lifted position.

We just fought with the dirver's side for 10 minutes. Passenger side went much easier once we had our timing and positions down. But honestly, it was piece of cake. Thanks!

The bottle jack sure makes things easier. Getting enough leverage on a big pry bar is just not fun.

Actually his parents are not the only ones telling him that. The guy that stands to make a profit is too.
Crazy I know, but he is going to learn more wheeling the truck like it is and he does alot of long distance highway driving. I think we can build a very capable low vehicle which can grow higher with time. All those Yuma to Phoenix run will burn alot more gas up higher with bigger tires.
