Intro and Suggestions

What’s up guys? I did a small intro at the general boards and thought I would come straight back to the AZ area.

I’m new to yotatech and pretty much the whole off-road thing.
I love slamming 4L0 and locked, but really enjoy checking out new areas around this awesome state. I’ve done some of the common trails like the back-way to CK, the Ovens via Box and the New River area. I’m hoping to join you guys on a few other trails around AZ and get some good recommendations as to building up my truck.

So, as of now I’m looking at Walker Evans non-res vs. Donahoe. As much as I would like to toss a 6” Fabtech kit on, I’m trying to stay around 1000-1200 bucks. Have you guys had any good or bad experiences with either? I see different recommendations all over, but I’m looking to get a perspective of someone that runs either or even something else on AZ terrain.

Elvota- Thanks for slamming me into the AZ area!

Brett

Welcome!
I think you have two good choices there. Icon and Walker Evans are both good companies with great products.
Sounds like you aren't looking at them, but I would stay away from the Fabtech bracket style lift kits if you're going to be offroading though.

Glad to see you made it here... I thought you got lost.

I don't have any direct experience with the products you are offering or I'd give you an opinion.

I do know the us AZ guys will be happy to show you a trail or two... that's for sure.
