You are welcome to join us...your vehicle should do fine with that setup. Come on out

If it's MINT, then it's probably a lot nicer (in looks) than most of our trucks. Just remember, there are a few sections on Martinez where it's possible to get body damage. If that matters to you.

I would like to go but I really do not want to damage the body. It is mint and only has to door dings. I usually like the mud, snow, and sand. But I am not really into rock climbing. What is the terrain like out there? I would still like to go but not sure if I can go all the way back in where climbing over rocks is required.

Both of these are Rock Crawling trails. That is pretty much most of what we do. Ok, that is pretty much all we do.

Ryan, here are a couple threads to give you an idea what these trails are like:

http://www.yotatech.com/f100/az-mart...5-07-a-132481/
http://www.yotatech.com/f100/elvis-u...3-08-a-138327/

Also, I predict this weekend will be the return of the mighty ELVOTA.

Keep in mind as well that most of those reports/photos are of the hardest lines at both trails too.

Any word if Tim will be around town that weekend to join? I know he is on a motorcycle tour somewhere in CA.

Elvis is do able if you take the by passes and have some good spotters/good CB comm. . I did Elvis in my 4runner which is mostly stock with very little problems.

I'm wondering with the heat if it would be better to start a little earlier. Especially for those of us without A/C. Anyone else think so? Meet around 7AM maybe?

lol. That's an early wake up call for me . Still might do come if there is an open seat. Plus, I have to see if Elvota is still alive and wheeling.

7am... check.

Steve I thought you were bringing the red truck? or both??

I spoke to Tim last night - said he'd be out of town that weekend.

Shouldn't matter to you. You're up at like 5am anyway. Plus I have the longest drive (unless T comes) to get to the gas station (West Siiiiiiiiiiiiiide).

I may have to work.

I would need an open seat.

I'll kick in for gas.

I'll have an open seat, but you'd have to judge if you want to ride with me or not. No A/C and the last time I was on a trail, we went for quite the ride.

Oh whatever... you'll survive with no A/C Drunk. If it gets too hot you can just hop over in the plush mobile.
