Well I have some 2"x4" tubing for the crossmember, just need to run to 4wheel parts or somewhere for some new tabs for the links. But that's digging into my top ramen fund haha! But If anyone here has some tabs that are notched for square tubing and at least 1/4" thick I would gladly feed you some of my ramen noodles for them

If you're not scared of a little drive, we probably have all the tools you'd probably need to fab and weld what you needed. I just need to know when to expect you.

Pretty much all I need is tabs really. In reality I could cut the tabs off of the old setup, and just throw em on the new stuff. I'll get my crossmember all built tomorrow and see where that puts me. Just trying to make the least amount of trips out to my dads house (where the truck currently is) as possible. This whole v8 15 mph stuff is killing me haha!

Understood. The offer stands if you need access to a plasma cutter, welder, notcher, iron worker, bender or what ever else we have. We're pretty swamped with orders but we'd try and help you out as much as we could...if you decide to, you could trailer it out and fix there.

If you picked up the A/T's, you could replace the 2 ripped ones and still have a spare for $350.

Edit: Nevermind, just realized you're running 17's.

Ahhh. I guess I saw the specs for your '90 in your sig, my mistake. I hope you're able to get them. 35/12.50R15's are a tough size to find lately. I bought new tires recently and ended up having to go with my 4th choice and have them ordered out of Ohio because everything is on backorder!

A buddy of mine works at Big-O on 91st and Peoria. I can give him a call if you want. WHEN he charges me, it's like $10 per tire...or hit up any L'lantaria...

So, I watched AssYriaNrocKers "lets clean it up" video yesterday. Kudos dude! Great to see someone taking initiative to clean stuff up without a sponsor/event!
As I was driving to work this morning (12miles) thinking of the impending gas price crisis/issue/whatever you want to call it.
I started blaming environmentalists in my head...you know, the ones who block trails and pipelines and drilling because it MAY effect the lives of boll-weevils or horse-flys.
Then I thought: "I have never seen a Prius/Volt out at the trail-heads with big bags full of trash...it's always groups of trucks/Jeeps with big, beefy tires with names like "TERRA-GRAPPLER and MUD TERRAIN". (grrrr) It's happy kids with gloves that don't fit and trash bags they can barely carry. It's people who USE the land taking CARE of the land.
Rambling thoughts here...just wanted to really give props to AssYriaNrocKer and mention (since gas is SO GODAWFUL expensive this weekend and I won't be able to go to Show Low as planned for some trail wheeling) that we will be taking AssYriaNrocKers lead and heading to Table Mesa with some trash bags to do our part for OUR environment. Feel free to join up. We'll be on CB16, heading up around 11am Sunday.

Awesome!! I've got my on-board welder hooked up now, so if it happens again we can melt everything back together and keep wheeling! Woodpecker will be a good shake-down/warm-up run for your rig.

PS: Built rigs that don't attempt the Firehole will be heckled!!!

Woodpeckers a perfect shakedown trail. I'll be there, Travis is in too. He has a bit of a score to settle with the fire hole. Haha! If all goes smooth H2H right?

Great to get a chance to wheel again with you guys. I'd be down for the other trail as a passenger though... It would actually be a very good challenge for GliderAz rig as well. Maybe he'll join you guys too. Might there be a spare "safe" seat with some one else and is there a place to park my 4Runner after woodpecker? I've seen the videos you guys posted and I don't think mine it'll make it.

Put a garbage bag over the seat, that makes it easier to clean up!

So what's meet-up time for the morning?

I was thinking 9:30-10:00. Does that work for everyone. Still at work right now, so I won't have a CB....again. Was gonna install it tonight but priorities took over.
