New to the area

Hello,

I'm new to the Denver area and just purchased an 86 4runner a couple months ago. I'm by no means new to the 4wheeling world or the Toyota world, but I have no clue where to go wheeling, I know of several mountain trails but those are all closed until spring. I just purchased new tires and have yet to test them out. I also need a convenient location to test out the rig as mods progress. Any help or even wheeling buddies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I'm located in Parker, about 15 miles southeast of Denver. I actually have a book with several colorado trails which I plan to run but they are all in the high country and are closed during the winter months. I would like to find something nearby that I can access year round. Let me know, I would definately like to get a small or large group to do some wheeling and maybe even some wrenching.

Welcome to Colorado. I am in the process of getting my 85 fixed up to go wheeling this summer. Check out CO4X4 for sure, lots of good people there. Check out their trip report section for places to wheel and their staging area for people to meet.

Im also fairly new here, well been lurking for years, lol but yea, theres plenty of groups/clubs in the area.
Go out a few groups, and see which one fits you better, IMO NEVER wheel alone, you never know what can happen. Heres a few that seem to be pretty cool, good people, good forums, that promote "stay on the trail"

www.board.marlincrawler.com

Anyways get out there and have a good time
