Maybe I missed reading it but do we need the cable at the bottom or is that optional. Also can it be permantly mounted???

The cable is not necessary (comes with one). The additional cable is for people who want to use this in multiple vehicles w/o having to disconnect the cable. Any other questions just let me know. Thanks in advance, John |

I got mine a couple days ago and it's great!
Is there a place to discuss the SG and it's operation? There's a statement on the SG page about entering 12 commands, but doesn't discuss what those commands are or what they are for. I take it by the use of the word "commands" you can actually tell the vehicle computer to do something different than what the factory programmed it for??? Thanks, Al |
