Turdoale, I won't be able to make this trip but does everyone use a CB to communicate? If so, what is a good inexpensive model for trail use only. Thanks.

Good thinking,
I think i have some talk abouts that work on cb frequencies when they are on "security code" 0. I'll have to see if I can find them though. I got a c75 in my truck though |

I found the radios, and I have three. I might need to use one as my antenna on my cb is kinda funky. I'm gonna go try it out on the cb right now.
edit: Poo, didn't seem to work with the cb. Thats funny, b/c I could swear they worked. Oh well, those of us that have both will just have to relay. Or we can use the good ol' fashion haller'n! I'm really excited I tried this b/c I bought a holster for my talk about when I used it for skiing, and it fist perfectly around the sun visor, so now its up there right where I need it. And my cell phone fits in there too! Anyway, just thought I would share. Any other ideas? Last edited by turboale; 08-01-2003 at 03:34 PM. |
