Why won't people learn???

How many bad reports and stories about Jippy Lube is it going to take before people realize they'll get ripped off? The local managers have to be in on the rip offs and that district manager...what a schmuck! That company needs a top down shake up!

Goes back to the old saying: if you want something done right, do it yourself!

Jiffy lube gets busted for this every five years or so. I had a friend who worked at one about 15 years ago and he told me all kinds of horror stories of rip offs and breaking things and having their managers just tell them to hide it and get the customer out of the shop. He told me one story where some newbie stripped a drain plug and was told to just glued it back in. It fell out a few days later and the truck owner fried his motor on the freeway. The guy had to sue Jiffy Lube. He did. Newbie wasn't fired.

Do your own maintaince or take the vehicle to an independent shop. All those chains are rip offs because they all have sales quotas to meet

yeah how many times does this happen to jiffy lube? wow, just happened in about 6 months or so ago, oh wait, that was the last time this same clip surfaced

but yeah, they are still a rip, and the clip still demonstrates what happens...

I like the Jeep Grand Cherokee's license plate. It said C Karma!

That was hilarious.

Even though it's a repost I can't tolerate even watching crap like that cause it makes my blood boil to watch people get ripped off like that, but on the other side how can people actually think you are going to get good service by taking it to a place like that? There are no free lunches here people! Even the Jiffy Spooge business model itself has slim profits (mostly based on volume) unless you start ripping people off......no surprise there what happens next. I hope to see a class action lawsuit against them some day to really rattle their cage, shake up management and scale back the theivery a bit.
