Question Who shops E Bay?

I have recently started getting into checking out E Bay. I gotta say you can find some dang good deals there. Who all is on E Bay and what kind of deals do you look for? I like looking at automotive: tools, parts, decals,& rigs that I would never buy.

Man if you don't like going to the junkyard looking for parts its about your best bet for finding good condition pieces. I got a new dash piece for mine. The only bad experience I had with ebay was when I tried to get a door handle from some guy in california. I had to wait 2 months and then got the wrong side. I ended up calling Jay Mark's Toyota and getting it for about the same price new. User I would steer clear of is glxtasy.

I've been trying to sell about 10 things for 2 weeks now. I gave up on some of it. I'm still selling blue carpet from my 2000 4Runner, it's going for $15.50 right now. If you have a Tacoma, hell for $16 just cut it off where you don't need it! Sorry, had to plug my auction.:pig:

I have bought many things on ebay. Before you buy, find out how much it would actually cost, and like RicNkc said check their feedback, too many negs. show reason to be concerned.

Keep bidding till you find that auto bidders limit. What you can do is proxy bid (If I remember right thats what its called). You put in the top bid that your willing to make and ebay will automatically bid till that limit is reached.

Take a big rod, reach behind you with one hand, and ram it up the location where the sun don't shine .

Ebay makes you jump through hoops to get a claim filed and even then there is so much paperwork, then you have to pay someone to appraise something if it came to you like crap and then you don't get all of you money in the end. Ebay still takes a portion of the denero! I gave up on my $160 CD player that I got screwed on. dude sold me one that was ripped out of a Honda.

Yeah thats true, I remember reading that post awhile ago. So far I've had good experiences with Ebay.com, just be sure to check their feedbacks and if they have couple of negative feedbacks, read them. Just read some of the negative feedbacks and see what the common problem is with the seller. Goodluck!

Sometimes just the threat of legal action is enough. I had one guy who wouldn't ship my item so I told him that it was mail fraud punishable by hefty fines and jail time.

I got my item within the week.
