Where to go adventuring.
I live in Amarillo, TX, so I'm bordered nearby by New Mexico and Oklahoma. I am wondering if anyone knows of some good places to go adventuring here. I'm about to try to turn my 4runner into an offroad worthy rig, and I'd like to go adventuring somewhere. For example, I'd like to maybe go offroading and trail riding into the woods and then spend a few days fishing, kayaking, and mountain climbing, or something like that.
Basically I don't want to go somewhere specifically for wheeling, I want to go on an outdoor adventure that partially involves off-roading.
