Wheel locks are a joke!

Oh my god! I just got a use miata and it had wheel locks but no key. Well, we got some vice grips, clamped them on as tight as we could and turned it. They came right off! Useless!

I know there was a thread recently about wheel locks and supposedly the expensive ones are much better. These were the cheap ones I think, so if anybody gets some either get the good ones or save the money and use normal lugnuts.

For me, I like the intimidation factor that comes with the lock.
A shotgun can't really do as much damage as some people think but thanks to movie's like Face/off where the guy gets blasted and goes flying back 15 ft, the mere racking of a round is enough to get bad guys running

But yes, like Tom said... where's the pics???

When I worked at Firestone, we could get most wheel locks off that way. Every once in a while, we would get one that was rusted on, and had to get out the air chisel.

Get the pics asap!

I think they want pics of his new Miata.I agree that wheel locks are a joke. My dad put some on his truck, but lost the key. We had a shop break them off.

Here on the east coast she would have sued you for destroying her vehicle, and mental anguish for making her watch aggressive acts of violence.

yeah I figured out after I posted it was the miata .... I'm a litle slow today .. running on no sleep, trying to finish up work so I can hit EC4RJ tomorrow

Goes back to what everyone says everytime we talk about a car alarm. If they want it bad enough, they'll take it. Whole point is to make it look as unappealing as possible
