What's your beater car?

I'm curious if any of you have an old, dirty, cheap, rusted/dented, parts missing, mismatched paint job, noisy, smelly, with tons of miles on but starts everytime car or truck (preferably a toy) that you used to own or drive now?

No doubt, that's my p/u. The sun's gotten to the clearcoat. Badly. The driver's side window doesn't roll up or down any more, just grab it and push. Nice for when I lock the keys in The dirver's seat fabric is shredded. I threw a piece of carpet onto it, and a wooden bead seat thingy over THAT. The radio works, if you give the side of the console a good whack every so often, passenger speaker out as of 2 days ago. The antenna is kinda loose, as is the passenger side rearview. The stick on labe where the a/c and heater controls are is faded completely, cracked, and failing in spots. The blower hasn't worked in a couple of years. The seatbelts go back in with a lot of help. The inside of teh bed is thrashed, and I sideswiped a concrete abutment, nicce dent and scrape marks on that side of the bed. The rear bumper has been backed over a stump, and then pounded back (mostly) into place. The cold air inlet pipe from the front of the engine bay to the aircleaner is held on with duct tape. The great deity only knows what's behind/under the seat. The tailgate is pretty well covered with bumperstickers that are too faded to read, and won't open by the handle. You have to reach into the access panel and pull the release bars manually. The hi-pressure power steering hose has a leak, and if I turn to the stops, it squirts onto the exhaust manifold, and STINKS! I carry a bottle of powersteering fluid behind the driverside headlight. The driver's side tail light is RTV'd in, as the plastic thingies that the screws mate into cracked and fell out. The fuel guage only works when the tank level is above 3/4. After that, it just drops to the bottom and stays there.
BUT! It starts easily, every time I turn teh key, and can actually go 0-60 in about 15 seconds. Not a racer, but plenty enough form me. I get about 22 mpg on it, and the entire engine and drive train, except the U-joints, is factory. I've replaced a lot of the peripherals to the engine, the alt, water pump, etc, but other than that...Not too bad for 287k on it I give it TLC, and it returns the favor.

Same color and everything. Picked it up for $700, drove it 1.5 years, sold it for $900.

I could even tie a 92 Accord EX Auto in it.

Possibly an '84 Bronco II, a buddy's old hunting truck, great for climbing the mountain where I work in the winter.

When I had my AWD Eclipse which was delegated to summer only/race use I drove a '90 Subaru Loyale 4wd wagon and that thing was a great DD beater and was decent in snow up to 10",after that it just needed a little more ground clearance.

92, is that the truck you're selling? If so, that's a nice beater.

1992 Tercel 4 speed 209,000 miles. Traded 6 pieces of sheetrock, 10 2x4's and a set of wheels for it. Sold it this week for $500, traded up to a 1989 Camry wagon.

The beaterish car I've ever had was an old school Datsun B210.
It blew the radiator every trip, but it kept on going.
