Those are cool birds, you should see those babies when they take off "off road" they put some rockets in there to help lift them off!! Very cool to see!!

When they take off, they look like they're going so slow they'll fall out of the sky. They're a treat to ride in, too! The things are huge!

what a little plane that is have you seen the antonov 225 its about twice tie size with a max take off weight of 580 tons
that gives it a payload of 250 tons and it is the biggest cargo plane in the world if they put seats in it it would hold 1500 people.

I refuel the C-17 in Middair quite often and I will tell you what when it pulls up behind you at night it get's pretty hairy. It dwarfs our plane and it's capable of moving like a fighter.... What a RUSH!
That's a cool picture though. I seen some like that a while back when they were landing in Kandahar.

There was one parked at the Livermore, CA airport for a long time.. Don't know if it's still there...
