BigJohn, if you're confident that by selling the '02 & purchasing a '98, you'll have money left over for mods I say go for it. Mod fever can not & should not be opressed.
 Otherwise you're right, you will lose good money on it & some peace of mind because you're the 1st owner of your '02. It's brand new & will run for a great many years with or without mods.
