too much $$ ??

i am looking at a 89 4runner, mint inside and out. 4cyl. 5 speed.
problem is it has a blown motor.
the lady wants $800 for it, seems pretty steep but i really like it.
opinions?

If the body and interior are mint then its a GREAT DEAL!!! I wouldn't hesitate.... but I can swap an engine in myself.

I love my 89, they are hard to find too. Whats the mileage on the body?

i can rebuild or swap a motor no prob.

went and checked it out, interior is pretty beat up and there is 300k on it.
no rust though.
offered her $300.
we'll see what happens.
