Not if you think creatively, just make up a symbol, any symbol works, say a halfround with a squigly line over the top, and then give it a sound...again, any sound works here....

say ....

(~ There is your letter (be more creative, but I cant draw here, all I have is the keyboard)
Now give it a sound, how about sh ?
like at the end of fish. There done.

fi(~ Now prounounce it with fi-shh.
(~it ..... you get the idea...

how do you think we got our alphabet letter? symbols with a sound.... thats all they are.

Mine looks like this: <.>

It is pronounced like this: fuuu. Where the 'uuu' is soft like it is in 'up', but drawn out.

Example: <.>k

think about it this way, the alphabet could have been 27 letters instead of the 26 we know of. we never know if there WAS 27 at one point.

It's easier than that ... just put unlots or accents over letters.

For example, the Hungarian alphabet has 44 letters - but they're all the same as ours, just each vowel has nothing over it, . , .. , ' , ''

the 25 would be easy if we just get rid of the double-u, it is redundant after all.

In Español the have the double-r and a double-l, oh yeah and the ñ, too.

Where would they put this 27th letter? At the end? At the beginning? Between H and I???

On a side note, wouldn't that be sweet, to see on police videos. Drunk drivers getting pulled over, standing on one foot, and attempting to recite the alphabet in reverse. If they stuck your new letter at the end, they could at least make it to one of them.

Ahhh, I can see it now.

Officer:"Sir please stand on one foot and recite the alphabet backwards."

Drunk:"Oooo"

Officer: "....."

Drunk: "Ooooooooooooo!!!!"

Officer: "Ok, you may begin now"

I suppose it is more fun to do this with a group of friends, because it's really funny to watch each others facial expressions, as you try to create new sounds.
I fell off my chair when we did this at work.
