With having our chocolate lab. our floors were a mess. Plus our normal "cheepy" vacuums were only lasting a year maybe two. We broke down and spent big money on the Kirby. Its been awesome! Best money I have ever spent on the house.

The cool thing about the Kirby is that you can haggle on the price. Its like buying a car.

We have a Eureka Bagless "The Boss" vaccum cleaner... works very, very well... and it is nice not having to buy bags...

The vaccum itself looks like a damn tank... but it's really light...

you guys keep up this vaccum cleaner talk and someone is goign to find yotatech on google and start posting about their home appliance issues

anyways back to the topic...

Dyson vaccums are AMAZING. i used them all the time at work to clean up our department at close (best buy). I beat the living crap out fo the vaccums running it into stuff and pulling the cords around sharp objects. They seem to take the beating pretty well.

If not dyson i say bissel with my vaccum cleaning experince...ive never used or heard of a kirby

Electrolux all the way, I refuse to use a canister vacum, plain and simple they have to many filters, they clog, and what a mess to empty
