some javascript and flash help

hey i was just hoping i could get some advice on javascript. i'm trying to make it so that when someone hovers over a picture link on my website, another picture shows in an internal frame (<IFRAME> page. i know it's possible to do this all within the same page, but can you do it from one .htm page to another, internal .htm page? i couldn't find the code anyway.

also, i want a custom scroller on my site. the default one that shows up when the content won't all fit on the screen is nice and all, but i want a differnt one, like the one on www. thrice.net (center of page on left, the news section). i hear this is done with flash, but i'm not too good with flash, so does anyone have a quick fix?

Charles, I found your post here, and HTML is now turned off.
It was keeping me from seeing Cebby's response, and the rest of your post, as lots was missing until now.
