Snow by Wednesday for WA. state

Quote:
Tuesday: Rain changing to snow and windy. Highs in the mid 40s early then falling temperatures.
Tuesday Night: Snow likely. Lows in the low 30s.
Wednesday: Snow showers likely. Highs in the low to mid 30s
Probably just a tease like most times here...

Yes, so much rain now.
I have work to do on the rig, and can not do a thing in this weather.

Let it snooooooow

http://www.kirotv.com/weather/10704183/detail.html

The calm before the storm...
Presently 46 here, and no wind.

I hope to wake up to at least 2 to 3" for my commute.
If we have snow, I will get one hour of overtime since I can start work at 4 am as I am on the snow removal crew for our site.

Look at the low twmp for Thursday, 18 degrees.
Can you dig it?
I can, I love cold weather like that.

So did you get the snow Corey, We got about 4" up here and it's still coming down. Supposed to drop to -8 or -10 celsius for the next few nights so the snow should stick around for a while.

I got about 3 inches last night and it's still coming down. All school buses are on snow routes today. They didn't dare have a snow day - the kids are already gonna be in school until the end of June because of all the make-up days.

It's sooo cold! I hate snow......

I left for work a littel after 3 am, nothing.
Had 35 miles per hour gusts of wind and heavy rain yesterday between 3 and 4 PM.

Got to work this morning, then it started to come down, but quit.
Right now at work it is just cold from 10 miles per hour winds.

They say more snow, but I doubt I will get any where I am.
We hardly ever get any.

When I was growing up we always got 1 to 3' each year it seemed.
Global warming has taken that away from us here.
To get the real stuff you have to head to the mountains now.

My daughter called me earlier on her way home from school and she was sitting behind a very stuck city bus (on a hill) by the college. She was on I-5 this morning going 15mph in a blizzard. ack!

I think I should venture forth and see if my chains are untangled enough to put on.

weeeeee!

Well it was blowing big puffy flakes here at the Everett Boeing plant for about 30 minutes. Of course everybody bailed early but me. "Oh my god it's snowing", the sky is falling the sky is falling.

Growing up in Montana I just have to laugh when people around here freak out over a few flakes.

I woke up this morning to find a light dusting of say 1/2" here on base.....And wow the roads were slick. I truly miss the couple feet we used to get in AZ.

{insert 30 years in Chicago here - 26 of them driving}

The worst thing about this weather (when it's out here) is the person in front of you that's freaked out.

Yes, I was very disappointed.
FJs love to play in the snow.

I think the rig felt more at home up in the snow a few weekends back up at Greenwater than it does in the city.

Now we are going to get this 18 degree weather overnight, and whatever moisture is left on the ground will ice up.

I will take a foot of fresh snow to drive in any day over a layer of ice on the ground.

Exactly. Not to bash on Californians (Since I am one as well ) but there has been several deadly wreaks in southern
