so a couple weeks ago, i found out that my friend's grandma's shop had an old 1984 Ford Ranger flat bed work truck 2wd sitting on the side. i was like WTF LETS GO GET IT AND PRERUN IT! after talking to his gma, she let us have it for $400, and yes it ran smooth started up right away, drove perfectly, but hasnt been registered in 3 years. so we took it off her hands she wanted it gone anyway, and now we got a prerunner... sort of... =] COST of Project Danger Ranger Prerunner: $400 - Truck $15 - Paint $FREE - Lincoln Locker =] $100 - 4" Lift $17 - Paint $30 - Wheels and Tires Updated 8/16/08 TOTAL = $562. DAY 1 - Picked up the Ranger The Sky looked crazy from all this damn smoke here in California.... DAY 2 - turned that ugly rack, into a roll bar for the bed.. Prerunner bar =] DAY 3 - 15 dollar paint job. =] and how it sits today, with our crew and the ranger - 6/26/08 EDIT: YouTube Video yea were crazy kids...

just found a lift for our ranger!!

for $100

we got:
- The 4" lift coil springs for the front
- 4 Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks
- and longer u-bolts for the rear so we can lift it with blocks.

pick n pull is great for aftermarket stuff thats so cheap.

I know its cambered as sh** and i might need to build some brackets to level them out. and if you are wondering what that yellow wire is, its for the battery charger cause it was dead the last time i tried to start it.

OH and if you didnt know the rear end has a Lincoln Locker in it!!! =]

if you supply the hardware any garage will make you lines ... cost me like 10 bucks for the 4runner...or do they need to be flex lines

Looks good though. Definitely need to fab up some drop brackets. Or go cheap and use blocks and longer hardware to drop those crosses
