well i was at a friends wedding in Hawaii and we went snorkeling and something caught my eye so being the curious little kid i am i went and grabbed it i didnt know what it was cause it was integrated into the coral but i broke the coral off and stuff and saw the stamp PLAT950 so i had it cleaned and appraised and here i am now selling it so i can get a 1st gen pickup

seems like a lot of moolah.
Bought the wife a platinum wedding ring, that had a half-carat near perfect diamond in it for way less than that. that she dropped in the water last year. Oh well, I aint buying another one.

Also be careful dealing with that kind of stuff on CL, people are getting jacked in jewelry sales, either for the cash, or the bling. remember, it is better to have it and not need it than it is to need it and not have it. (firearm that is)

^^^ True dat. I'd be careful selling that bling on CL. Try a few jewelry shops and take a lesser price. Or maybe even ebay.

Jewelry appraisals mean precisely squat when it come to selling the stuff. Then only thing that appraisal is good for is an insurance claim.
Don't be surprised if any offers are less than half the appraisal amount.
