PDA armor

I just got my aluminum case in the mail from innopocket.com for my Sony Clie and I gotta say, the thing is pretty COOL I noticed my clie was a little scratched from everyday use, and I plan to have this for a long time, so I started looking for a case. I found some on ebay, and the front was aluminum, but the back of them was plastic. I figured, if I'm going to go aluminum, I might as well go all the way. Well, they had some innopocket ones too, so I checked out their website, and the cases weren't too much more to buy direct, so I just ordered from them. This is the one I got http://www.innopocket.com/EShop/Main...D=60&name=Sony
The only irk I have with the case is that I thought that the case would have utilized the two holes on the bottom of the PDA, which would allow the case to hold onto the Clie with a deathgrip, but it didn't, so I stuffed some weatherstripping down there to wedge it in a little. Also, the case is kinda slippery because of the aluminum, which might result in my dropping it more, which would defeat the point of me getting it. But other than that, I like it a lot!.

I got their screen protector and it works better than writeright or other screen protectors I've seen or used out there. Innopocket's screen protector is stiff so styluses glide easier on them.

I'm not affiliated with them in any way, I just thought I'd let you guys know of some nice protection for your PDA.

the back. I like how it has cutouts for everything. Even a hole on the back for the reset button

Hey there DuB....
Good timing. I too just purchased a Clie.
I've been surfing for a case. I'll order mine here soon.

How are you liking the Clie so far. I purchased a 64 meg stick to keep all my info.
Have you purchased any software yet?

Thanks again for the case info

No problem Todd! I'm glad someone found the info useful

What model do you have?

I LOVE this thing. It's so useful for me. Plus, my gf got it for me I use the memos, todo list, and tele #s a LOT. I wish my digital camera used MS but it uses compactflash. I might buy a MS just to store stuff on though. I haven't purchased any software, but I was thinking of getting documents-to-go for the powerpoint since a lot of my professors put up slides for lecture in ppt format. I haven't bought any software, but I've DLed some free stuff. Nothing too great though

I dropped the case for the first time today The mounting thing for the Clie popped off the shell of the case, but it was because they use a tiny bit of glue, and the case is all slippery. I took my dremel and roughed up the aluminum on the inside of the case so that the glue could have something to grab on to, scratched the old glue off, and then epoxied the piece back into place. Nice and solid now

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can stick to the case to make it more "grippy"? I was thinking of finding some type of adhesive rubber strips, but I don't know where I can find something like that. I was also thinking of that grip tape type of stuff that you put on sliders or nerf bars to step on, but that would be too rough for my pockets...
