Go for the Prizm. Its the smart, economical thing to do. Besides you can always remove the emblems and no one would know.
Then you could drop it, run black wheels, black hood, and put a huge muffler tip on it. J/k Prizm all the way! Last edited by <96 Runner>; 03-06-2003 at 11:19 AM. |

Geo Prizm
Hey mtnbkr,
My sister has a 1993 Geo and it has been a very reliable car for her. Its a 5spd and has 160k on it. She gets low 40's MPG. The interior has not help up well. The previous owner was in a wreck and whoever fixed it bondoed the problem and she has a hole in the left pillar comming from the hood. I have heard that the corollas exibit a better interior and less paint problems, but if they are made in the same plant I don't know how thats possible... Her car is black too, thats just a tough paint to have and keep up in my opinion. Heck its toyota powered you cant go wrong with either one!! Mike

Thanks for the info guys. Assuming the car is comfortable to sit in and drive (the reason I sold my Paseo), I'll give the Prizm a shot.

Depends on how long you are going to keep it.
If you are going to run it into the ground, then get the Prizm. If you are going to drive it for a couple of years then sell it, get the Corolla, since Toyota's have a better resale value.
