my heater valve that is

I took it off almost a year ago when I bypassed my heater core, and stashed it somewhere... well I bought a new heater core and hoses a little while back, and have been looking for this blasted valve for MONTHS now, and I just found it about 15 minutes ago in the box with all my cans of r134A...

all of the boxes with old and spare truck parts I have, and it was in the box with freon... wth...

now I have something to do on my 10 DAY VACATION STARTING THIS WEEK!

Um, you are in Florida Trav. Maybe if you came up here, I would understand the excitement of heat.

And you had to rub in the 10 day break? Tomorrow is the last day of mine

take a little road trip up to where i am, last night -13C, wind chill -20C today may get to -5C, wind chill -15. its a nice day here, the sun does a nice job warming the car during the day so we dont use the heater. run it on low at night and keep the widows up.

because you're a right proud Canadian is why you done said what you did... lol.

occasionally FLA temps make it down to the low teens or even single digits away up near GA and such I bet when you're used to the low 20s at worst that kind of temp. can seem startlingly nippy and grounds to run the heat at max. lol...

It does kind of make sense to have put the valve thing in with the freon... . the heater valve when installed causes it to get warm... no freon in the A/C system cause it to get warm also... it's just fuzzy logic...

lol, yeah the tittle kinda came from a fit of joy reverberating through my arms and finger tips and onto the keyboard

and yeah, it get's into the 'teens for a couple days around the year here but it being sweltering hot for the rest of the year makes those few days UNBEARABLE!!! without a heater... which I will be fixing next week on my vacation assuming next week isn't the week we get down into the 'teens, lol. If that's the case, I'll be keeping my Floridian @$$ inside, lol
