offroad trails in the portland maine area
ok so my friend and i have been talking about making a trip to his house in maine during spring break and the main reason is for some 4 wheelin. anybody from this area or maybe could point us in the right direction of some worthy trials of pretty much stock rigs, my buddy has a jeep with a 2 inch lift, i have an 89 pickup and my buddy has nissan pickup, anyone know where there are some good trails? thanks guys

Not sure, but I don't think southern Maine is going to be very off-roader friendly. I love Maine, but it's become a haven for environmentalist types, plus southern Maine real estate is at a premium.
You might do better in the northern parts of the state. I understand there to be an extensive network of logging roads, but I don't know what sort of permission you need to use them.
