NW Toyota Festival III - Page 3

I came all the way from Arlington with no Top and Tube doors on my 86 4Runner, wearing only pants and a T-shirt! You WUSS Corey! It didn't rain the whole time I as in Auburn, save for some minor sprinkles.

It was raining like crazy through bellevue, but I toughed it out and motored on!

But, you really didn't miss much. Last year was better IMHO. THis year was just a SCION show, with a few weak trophys for other classes.

PSTOC: Move this event closer next year. Auburn is too far away!! Methinks we also need a bigger venue, and better advertising. Lots of late comers had no where to park, and ended up leaving pretty much as soon as they got there.

Maybe its just me, but last year was much more exciting. I liked the raffles going on throughout the day, and the odd trivia questions lol.

I don't want to get into details, but there was/is some drama regarding the organization of this event, and it sounds like this will result in two different parties doing two different events next year.

Anyways, I can tell you that the people in charge of organizing next years event pretty much completely agree with you on all your concerns and they will be addressed and solved. The venue will be bigger, but I can't promise on closer, we're looking at two possiblites, first choice is Bremerton Motorsports Park, 2nd is back at Triple X.

The thing about Bremerton is there would be a possibilty of drag races, autox and they're also talking about digging out a mud bog, which means along with the show there would pretty much be something for all toyota owners. Also a chance it would be a 2 day event with nearby camping and lodging.

Anyways keep checking PSTOC and I'll post up here once it's all solid.

camping and lodging would be good, but I dont know if I would make it if that stuff didn't exist. Bremerton is WAY far away. And if I were to take a ferry, thats expensive too. But we'll see.

Im not a member on PSTOC, but we'll see. I may join up, but its just another login to remember lol.
