Now that war is near!

Hey folks;

Many of you may have already noticed that there is a marked increase in posts concerning Iraq and the US - as well as oil and general policy questions. I would like to ask that each and every poster please consider their choice of words carefully before hitting the submit button. We have many different types of users, from police, soldiers, peace activists, enviromentalists and even those that care only about gears and lockers. So let's try to keep the peace and understand that your words could easily spark a regrettful flame war. These wars are not good for ther community.

We all know that discussion about politics and religion can lead to some pretty ugly comments. I hope that the fine people of YotaTech will be able to keep such discussions civil and cordial. Afterall, we are all here for a common reason - love for our Toyota's - we are not here to flame each other. Open discussion is great. There won't be any censorship here - but if things get ugly, the Mods of the board will have no choice but to delete/move/close offensive threads.

So let's do our part to continue the great success of this board by remaining mature and respectful. You may not agree or even respect an opinion being expressed, but we should respect the freedom to express such opinions.

You don't need to support the idea of war but you can still support the soldiers that are deployed (they have no choice in the matter) Wish Or pray for a safe return for both sides (there soldiers don't have choice either but the leaders on both sides do...)

I completly understand what you are saying, but as long as people don't get agressive about it and manage to not get into "namecalling" then I don't see a problem with talking.

That's what I am saying - there is no problem talking about it. As long as it remains civil, there is no problem. So just be mindful when posting. That's all we ask.
